Is Guernsey covered by EU roaming?
No. Guernsey is outside the European Union, and EU roaming rules do not apply. Some European operators include the Channel Islands in their Europe zone, others bill them separately — check your price list, or use a travel eSIM.
Does a UK plan work in Guernsey without extra charges?
It depends on the operator. Guernsey's networks are separate from the British ones, so a UK plan reaches them by roaming: several operators include the Channel Islands, others charge.
Will the plan work on Herm, Sark and Alderney?
The network reaches the other islands of the Bailiwick, but more thinly than Guernsey itself — expect good signal near the harbours and gaps elsewhere.
Does the Guernsey plan work in Jersey?
No — Jersey is a separate destination with its own plans. For a trip that also takes in France or England, a regional Europe plan is simpler.
Will I have signal on the ferry?
